Pros & Cons
Pros
The a6000 is a delightfully compact and lightweight camera. Only other thing is that it is a bunker huge lens, my little sony a5000 looks like an end cap lol. I have an a6300 with a battery grip (which makes it look like a beast with this lens) this i... Read More
The versatility of this lens is what makes it so great. Had a lot of fun with this lens on vacation. Still experimenting there. Have to get used to the size and weight of the thing, but needles to say, i'm very happy.
The 18-105mm is exceptional! My only gripe is that it's f/4, but you can't really ask for better than that for the price. It is wire sharp at all focal lengths (equivalent 27 mm to 158 mm) the constant f/4 is nice as well. Google it to learn more abou... Read More

Cons
The zoom feature is powered and the focus ring doesn't feel tactile. It's also slow to zoom. At the widest zoom range there is no distortion, but it quickly settles at 10-12% pincushion distortion from 30mm and above.

Depending on your perspective i suppose that might be a good thing but as i said it just changes the overall camera experience from what the a6000 bring to the table by itself
