Dont waste your time tweaking the settings just turn off the tv then switch it back on and that should fix the problem

With so much connectivity on one device these are great for streaming music over bluetooth when youre not watching tv

If you can try to avoid going through the tv and connect this directly to the device your using

Obviously there is only one optical connection so buy an optical switchhub available from amazon and they dont cost very much to get all your devices connected for the best sound

I have a canton 50 soundbase on my main tv and this is much much better its in a different league really but then again it was over four times the price of the sony so its not really fair to compare
