For things like ipads and mobil phones you can go to setting on the setting under bluetooth and under bluetooth mode set to receiver and select on the home screen bluetooth and press pair and you can without any apps listen to any music on your ipad or mobil phone

It connects with ease and provides a very reliable bluetooth connection with good sound quality if you download the songpal app on your mobil or tablet you can use chromecast for tunein radio app on your tablet or mobil and the sound quality is usually better

First tho go to music services on the home screen and select music services then chromecast and download the latest chomecast to the soundbar

Also the soundbar is setup to update automatically so will probably improve overtime with the filmware updates that sony will most likely provide to improve on the various soundfields it provides

As a soundbar it succeeds well in all areas tho i would say if you want to use the soundbar in a large room or for just films then you may want to opt for a dedicated 5

Wish amazon prime was on cast as i dont like using bluetooth apart from that very happy
