Included is the mounting hardware. All you have to do is drill the screw holes in your desired location. The solar panel and the light itself both articulate in several different degrees allowing you to move the light or panel in almost in direction.

The solar panels are large enough to charge the rechargeable battery so that it can last a few days even if the sunlight is scant. They are super sensitive and the charge lasts a blessedly long time. Needs to charge up on a sunny day.

Only downside is the 26ft max detection. The motion sense is very good and picks up movement quickly. The range is verygood and the angle is quite wide on the detector.

Amazon seems to be handling more and more junk. You're better off going to the local hardware store or walmart where you can return an item when it fails. Very frustrating and a waste of money.
