It's a reasonably well made 5 gallon charred oak barrel. It is so nice, just richer than before. Great unique gift for a whiskey lover.

Was leak free after one night with warm water. Fill with water and rarely have leaks beyond a few hours. Remember to follow the instructions for properly sealing. Only critique is that the wooden portion of the spigot cracked.

The barrel arrived four days sooner than the earliest expected shipping date from amazon and the seller. Now its ready fro *.

The wood on the outside is cracked and looks awful. Pictures show other flaws that are not as pictured in the advertisement but may be appealing for different displays. Contacted the seller again, quite * this time.

Cork for spigot and top cork are very soft and seem like they would leak. Still leaked. Waxed all the seams, still leaked.
