I think the book improves a lot after the middle when the author is older and is starting to work

A fascinating look into john cleeses early life and and an insight into his thinking on a number of issues it concentrates on his time before python which will be a closed door to many i suspect

The only thing i found wanting was that the book ends at the then we did monty python stage with a brief leap forward into the recent stage production mounted to raise the money claimed from spamalot by a producer of mpthg and granted after court action against all surviving cast members
