I have had other covers that barely cover the window and they freeze to the window is it rains first this one does not stick to the window

It is torture trying to put a cover on when the wind blows you just get in the right spot and the wind pulls it out

The straps and suction cups kept the cover on the car and the cover kept the ice and snow off

The only drawback is that when used on a very old van as it is hooked inside the van it allowed water to seep in

Unfortunately one time my husband put it on for me and while he was rearranging it he forgot that he had hooked it onto my cars wheel and pulled too hard and it tore

Not to worry if a bit of the windshield does not get covered because so much is covered that it will make no difference to functional visibility

This does help but will stick to window so dont expect a flawless view out your windshield
