    A wire and spring clip lab provides many more components in a given area, but the need to jumper wires back and forth can be confusing if you're working from a schematic diagram.

    There is a good assortment of parts and there's even a way to interface the lab with your pc (i believe it's through the audio jack which explains the low frequency range response but it's a clever hack).

    The reasons for not giving it 5 stars:- the oscilloscope software was written for windows xp.
