Pros

Simply loosen the nut a bit. They work on the jl perfectly. I know that the torque wrench is is calibrated and reasonably accurate.

These are sturdy and look great. They stay in place without issue - note that you can adjust the stiffness of the hinge to your liking. Really sharp looks, sort of easy to install, and enjoying them a lot so far.

Build quality is very nice these feel very solid underfoot and i have no doubt that they will hold all 350lbs they say they will

My doors were already off so the install was easy with the use of a breaker bar

I tried to remove my stock hinge bolts with the little jeep kit at first

All i can think is that either the called for torque specs are too high or there is a quality control issue with the bolts
