Pros

It easily sharpens my knives. My husband likes the coarse side, and he doesn't feel like the 'fine' sanding side does much. Simple and quick to use for sharpening of numerous knifes.

Takes some practice to make sure you keep the knife really vertical. Good value for that money. Highly recommend for the price.

Cons

The coarse pull through tore chunks out of the cutting edge of my chefs knife. It shaves off a lot of my blade & does not give a good sharp even after i hone it. Should only use on hunting knives and small hatchets.
