I have a lg v10 and it paired nicely and then i tried to pair it to my lg g pad and no dice.

You can attach your phone to the gamepad.

The phone attaches i the gamepad with an afterthought strap that wraps around game pad and locks to phone and that attachment has the clamp that hold the phone.

I've been looking for a controller to pair with my gear vr and the new samsung s7 edge phone and this was it.

There is some substance to the controller so its not cheap crappy plastic.
