Once the ewelink app has been downloaded and activated push the onoff switch for 5 seconds and the led flashes and the unit is searching for wifi networks then follow the process in the app for adding devices

The app then usually updates the software in the device to the latest version

Switching on and off and setting timers is intuitive and can be done from anywhere on a mobile phone

Connection to alexa is straightforward enable the ewelink app and then search for devices control can then be “alexa switch on the decking” she then turns it on and says “ok”

Setup was easy and was able to use the app that comes recommended to setup or i chose to sync with my alexa echo
