It is not a good tripod for travelling photographers who want something super light weight

I use it with a nikon d2x which is a really heavy camera in its own right never mind when the weight of lenses are added on top and i can safely say that unlike the cheaper jessops rip own brand tripod i had before this unit copes with the cameras weight at all angles very well and with good stability

The central column can be inverted allowing you to suspend your camera upside down to take very low level shots and the central column unscrews in two to allow the tripod to drop down to a very small height off the ground about 10 inches

Secondly the unit doesnt come with bag of any description so one will need to be bought separately and my particular unit didnt come with any instructions whatsoever

Although i suspect this may be an issue with the amazon marketplace seller that i bought it from and not generally

If no instructions are the norm for this product then for someone whos never owned a camera tripod before its going to be a steep learning curve getting to know it it

Whilst i havent used it in the field i have set it up with camera and 150500mm lens and it is perfectly stable providing the camera is orientated correctly with the camera and lens pointing directly over the front leg
