Pros & Cons

Pros

The tripod is very stable and yet lightweight. It has an effective pan-tilt head and the wand control is easy and fast. With the adjustable legs and how lightweight it is i have nothing to complain about.

This is the only mini tripod that i could recommend for heavier cameras. It is small enough to fit easily into my equipment bag, and sturdy enough to handle my dslr with a moderately sized zoom lens. I use the tripod to hold the h1 zoom stereo microph...  Read More

This slick is an ultra-small, ultra-light tabletop tripod and is built like a tank. Was looking for a travel tripod for a trip in california for astro photography, came across this and ordered. Also a manfrotto/bogen user.

Cons

The legs are crimped to the plastic plug that is pressed into the leg. This tripod fails to meet expectation that is published in the product description.

I really put it through its paces on my last three week trip and it help up far beyond what i expected for this price

It requires a little care during set up to get it stable enough but for the price its hard to beat

Not a huge deal but just worth noting

Packaging/appearance

It came with a carrying case too but i just throw the bare tripod into my range bag

Competitiveness

Recently a range officer had a small 34table top34 tripod similar to this one which is what lead me to purchase this one

This is likely the finest tabletop tripod on the market

I know there are more expensive units out there but i tend to buy the more inexpensive ones

Some years ago i purchased a cheap mead spotting scope to use on the rifle range
