The plastic is quite soft an easily chewed by dogs. Works great in our rv bathroom. We have an old steep staircase with a hairpin turn.

The sensors limited field of view with narrow angles and short distance coupled with a tooquick automatic shutoff if no motion is detected every thirty seconds or so mean the nightlights are best suited to small rooms or potentially hightraffic areas such as restrooms and hallways leading to and from bedrooms

You can put them next to your bed turn it away from you so it won’t come on if you roll over at night only when you get up move in front of it

They plug into the wall so no batteries to bother with

At the same time the red light does not cause the iris to contract like it would in bright white light so when you leave the proximity of the red light you are not left completely blinded

Works fine but it doesn’t stay on long enough and there is no way to adjust it
