Rubber didnt stay on long but it still works

Holds the door ajar for our cat but the dog cant open the door further to follow

One thing to be wary of the rubber does not seem to be glued to the wood but a loop so there is the possibility the loops could come off

My husband had an old door stopper that was wood only but would slide and would not keep the door open
