Pros
Shaker container with a shaker lid is perfect for storing spices. The threading on the lid is thorough and secure. I have a small, step open lid trash can that i scoop the clumps into. The canister keeps it nice and dry.
Cons
Using a standard 16 mesh black pepper and kosher salt blend was causing clogs for me. That defeats the purpose.

Unfortunately the shape of this jar which makes it easy to hold also makes it awkward for me to pour the crystals into the trash under the lid because i cant control which direction the pour spout is on

The lid openings end up being a sideways pour which is awkard from the front angle i need to go at

Add to that i can only use the pour side since the crystals are too clunky for the shaker holes and i end up fiddling with this thing a lot more than i hoped
