Pros

It uses the 2g network and satellites and can be used anywhere you go. It has automatic fall detection and two way speaker/microphone directly to 911. It calls for you and even has a gps to help locate you if you're unconscious.

Cons

Trying to communicate with the company is futile. The gps is not very accurate so don't rely on it. Very disappointing. I dropped the unit on the carpeted floor grom 6 feet; in most cases it faild to place a call to 911.
