He has had three accidents on it and it never reaches the mattress so i just wash the protector and thats that .

The vinyl of air mattresses causes too much humidity/moisture build up while sleeping and become very uncomfortable.

It does have a crinkling sound if you only use it but if you put a regular padded matress protector over the top of it you don’t even notice.
