As the previous reviewer noted the item does not come with the 38 to 14 adapter
I was so impressed with the ball head that this led me looking for another ball head
Price
At this price you cant beat it
In fact i own plates that cost 80

Definetely a great value compared to manfrotto ball heads that hold same pay load and cost over 100

I bought two of these to quickly support a timelapse track at odd angles
