I bought these blankets primarily to use as mattress covers having found that quilted covers cost a fortune to launder as they dont fit a domestic washing machine

They are not winter blankets i find it curious that reviewers complain that they are not warm enough as they are intended purely to provide an extra layer without generating too much heat they really offer just a comforting protection when the weather is too much for a duvet

This blanket had a greasy or oily line the full width of the blanket i put it on a 60c wash it is still there but not as pronounced this is a shame as i was going to use as a first aid blanket so disappointed
