The whole thing looks super modern and classy from the packaging to the actual item
You simply put the tea leaves into the infuser which is like a cup place it into your mug and then pour over your hot water and let steep

The holes are quite small and some people have mentioned that the water does not go through it fast enough

Biggest drawback is if you let the tea leaves dry in the cup parts of the leaves may get stuck in the holes and it takes just a bit to completely clean it again easy solution empty it when they are still wet

So if youre looking to strain most all fine particulate matter out of teas or coffee this is not for you

Im a little surprised that the mesh portion seems to be slightly stained after a week of use but it doesnt affect anything functionally

The addition of the silicone ring on the lid of the simple modern infuser is to prevent it from burning your fingers when removing it from the top of the cup after brewing and it is a good innovation as the the bare steel lid becomes very hot after brewingi was asked to write a review by the company after i purchased it which made me realize i hadnt reviewed a product in a little while but i received no compensation
