The containers are packed in a very nice box that they are well protected but the plastic wrap had a very awful odor or chemical smell

However the lids are not microwave safe only the containers are so that is a little disappointment for the lidss materials

At this size they are just a shade too small for a full bag of sugar or flour

Perfect for storing pastas grains and baking or bagged ingredients except the tallestlargest one is not good for storing spaghetti or other long pasta which is a bummer
