I've tried other scissors in the past for cutting up my kids' food when going out to restaurants and this is by far the best. In fact, I bought 2 more for family members that wanted one after seeing mine in action. They are not too pointy that you worry about hurting yourself or your little one. They are sharp enough to cut through all foods without any issue, but not so sharp that you can easily hurt yourself. They are super easy to clean, and I haven't had any issues with the locking mechanism accidentally locking itself. Great product that I would highly recommend!   Read Less
