I am happy with the way this piece looks and with the functionality of it. My only gripe is the hideous sticker you see when the lift top is up.

Hinges prevent the lids from slamming down on your head or hands. Comes with the lift top and storage hinge already put together. Only defective thing is that the holes for the hinges are not pre drilled so you don't know where they go.

I highly recommend purchasing this table from amazon. Only issue is, this is more a composite plastic table than a veneer. It is very big and square, not rectangular so make sure your living space is adaptable to such conditions.

Storage galore. You can also use it on the one side for eating or for your laptop as it pops up. Storage for pillows or throws.

Easy to assemble but came with warped boards and the metal corner brackets were popping out and had to be bent to be put back in. After all that, the new pieces are still defective and don't line up either. Pick a different manufacturer.

The wood is chipped. It looks like my kid took a mechanical pencil to it and stabbed it a million times. The top and edges are already scratched and dented even more than when it was delivered.
