If you’re into photography you’ll know it’s better to get a good quality multicoated uv filter than any cheap one
Blown away at the quality of this filter
I purchased the 52mm and the 58mm so i will be posting this review for both sizes
Price
Price is good and seems to go on sale from time to time so a nice bonus over more expensive filters
The filter is doing its job the price was fair
Price is right it is all metal and glass

Now i know better and only userecommend sigma multicoated uv filters
I feel this filter was a good buy to protect my len on the lumix dmc fz200 camera
Then i spotted this sigma dg 52mm multicoated uv filter and ordered it
I havent had a chance toms it much as the lens in the shop

I should say i am not an expert in filters and havent used it long so it will be hard for me to evaluate it but will say i havent so far noticed it to change the picture in any way under normal conditions

When shooting against the sun however i did see a few colored as well as white glares in the pictures and videos but cannot tell if they were introduced by the filter or not

I dont get glare and this doesnt seem to effect the use of my lens or the images it produces in any negative way

Uv filters arent supposed to do anything for image quality

The filter screwed onto the camera quite easily and thus far i havent found any adverse effects in the way the photos come out

I am using this one on a prime 50mm canon lens it works great still produce some small flares on very strong lights or sunny days they are not bad or strong but just singled color dot from time to time depending of the angle
