Pros

This lens is pure pleasure to use, flexible in purpose, affordable and reliable. The the build quality is pleasantly bulky and sturdy feeling. The second photo is 100% 3:1 enlarged center of the photo.

This is the sharpest lens i have ever used in my life, hands down. It is also remarkably sharp. It’s a stellar lens, thesharpest i’ve ever owned.

The only downfall to it is how zoomed in all my pictures feel. It's on a cropped sensor obviously, but i don't have much need to be so close to my subjects that it makes a difference. If you want distortion then it is the answer, not a problem.

Lense is a bit heavy, but you forget about it while shooting. In the nikon space this is much better than the nikkor f/18. Check out the benchmark tests for the very top lenses at dxomark.



Cons

    I also took a picture outside in harsh light and i had to raise my aperture because the image was blown out
