Pros & Cons

Pros

If weather sealing isn't an issue for you, and you make sure you get the usb dock to update/calibrate the lens, this thing is a no brainer. It is on par with the canon 24mm but at a better price.

It's tack sharp, and so so good for wide shots when i'm shooting weddings. Attach photos tell the sharpness.

This lens. Amazes me every time i use it. Great focus. What an amazing lens.

Autofocus works great on my d850. Making adjustments at infinity is the hardest part. It takes amazing photos at mf.

Art lenses are sharp, well built, and heavy compared to similar lenses from nikon. They work flawlessly with sony cameras. My favorite lense. Nikon.

Cons

The autofocus (af) is really bad in multiple ways. It is about as slow as the canon 50mm f1. It's also very inaccurate in low light scenarios. I am slightly annoyed with the unreliable focus.

Fair warning though you will need the usb dock to update the firmware on all of these

I had major focus issues with all three prior to updating the firmware

These adjustments were so minor i opted to make them via my 5d iv in camera calibrations by lens instead of the usb dock

As long as your not trying to take photos of straight lines and you are not putting people’s faces right on the edge of the frame you should be good
