Pros

This c version is exactly what i was looking for as far as bang for the buck. The lens is a beast.

Nikon dl3400 is an amateur photographer who takes to the outdoors to capture wildlife photos. Bought this to do bird photography using an old eos canon rebel t-3.

The stabilization on this thing blows my mind! It has fast af. The only issue i actually found is a weird busyness in the background at times.

Cons

Lens is not very sharp. Takes forever to focus and, when using auto-focus, it eventually gives up on even attempting to focus on anything. This is just a heads up to anyone who has such issues to avoid the hassle of returning it.

First up the quality it is incredible

There is no noticeable chromatic aberration even with very highcontrast shots

Do not underestimate the weight of this lens i did and after two sports games my wrist was hurting from holding up this thing

Just a fantastic lens for the price

Definitely a great value for the money

Too bad the canon 600 mm costs 12999

If you can afford it do yourself a favor and buy it

Packaging/appearance

The box wasn’t secured closed and the box had the name of the product inside

The package had all the necessary packaging items to avoid any damage to the lens

I took it out of the box and brought it with me

Competitiveness

Sigma offers a very high quality lens and excellent value compared to the canon equivalent

I also bought from another dealer a used but in excellent condition nikon 200500mm zoom lens so i can compare the two

Last but not least sigma offers a four years warranty compared to 1 year for nikon
