Pros & Cons
Pros
While it excels in the sharpness department, it is a more delicate knife. It comes out of the box as a razor sharp. The blade is very sharp and a pleasure to use.
The shun is everything i expected. Totally exceed my expectation. I am emotionally attached to this knife. Great knife to have in your arsenal.
The handle bulges to the right to accommodate holding the knife in your right hand. The handle is kind of an oval d shape that fits the grip very comfortably. I do have issues at times with hand cramping.
The one thing i could possibly criticize about this knife is that it does not come with a case, just a thin cardboard shipping sleeve.
A bit pricey but worth every nickel. Shun really stands behind their products and are very eager to help if anything goes wrong.
Cons
I’m astonished at the level of deterioration that has occurred exhibiting a subpar product. The warranty is not honored. I am more than displeased with the way they are handling it.
