Pros

Lacing them was very fast and easy. Easy to install, strong stretch, good material. Easy adjustable fit, loose or tight.

The pressure based tie downs are both functional and durable. Comes with three parts for each shoe. Even on the heavy boots, it feels like they are hugging my feet. They're also great--no loose laces to get caught on/under wheels, doors and rollers.

Cons

The tips that are supposed to cover the ends of the laces to prevent them from fraying are flimsy and wouldn't stay latched. The elastic is not strong enough to tightly lace a real hiking boot. Couldnt fit elastic thru plastic peice.

The clips at the end come molded together with absolutely no advice on how to separate them and clip them. Came with no instructions. Difficult to close last clip.
