Pros

Shimano altus front derailleur. Works with 22-32-42 front crankset, and microshift shifters. Although my 2020 schwinn al comp mountain bike has a sunrace mega-range 7-spd freewheel, a 7- spd tourney trigger shifter, and an 8-spd kmc x8.

Smooth new shifting and solid pedaling. Shifts are fast, crisp, quiet, and smooth. Says deore but shifting is better than my original ever was.

The deore works well on a 9 speed cassette. Works great with 105 compact double shifters. Works with my old dura ace 7700 shifters.

Cage has enough clearance for an 8 speed chain so no issues there either. Setting the limiting screws was easy and, there was plenty of adjustment.

I see different derailleur higher price but this one good price and cheaper

I trashed my xtr derailleur but didn’t want to spend the money on such a highend replacement since i had a new bike on order

I used this on my old cannondale t800 9 speed 9 back 3 front 70028c when it was time to replace most of its parts
