I ordered sherman toner cartridges as an experiment the first time because they were represented as being on par qualitywise with the printer makers product even though the cost was substantially lower than the makers product

June 24 2017sherman toner cartridges ® ce285a 85a compatible black laser toner cartridge for hp laserjet pro p1102w m1130 m1210i print as little as possible however i do want the print quality to be perfect and out of the box this wasnt the case see attached photo

The toner cartridge fit the printer perfectly p1102w and there werent any funny noises but there were lots of black specks at the top 3 of every printed page

It was bad enough to be visible as a gray background at the top of every page

After running what printertechs d o t com call a halfway test to rule out a fuser issue and determined that the problem is that theres an excess of toner involved i set the printers print density to 1 and that took care of the issue

To change the print density go to the printers configuration page with any web browser you will need to know its ip address and then select print settings under the settings tab see photo

Then yuo carefully pull out the page from inside the printer and see if the section that was between the toner cartridge and the fuser shows any defects
