I'm very pleased with the quality of it and would definitely buy again.
I was afraid the top cushion would fall flat and have no structure or padding but pleasantly surprised with the comfort when sitting.

So though i'm fine sitting on it, i would not recommend much more than 200lbs to sit for long periods of time.

I ordered the gray, received the beige.

I’d recommend not stepping on it with one foot to get onto the bed as it will not support this from an adult more than likely.

I don't believe their are any support bars under the top other than the side walls.
