Needed quite a bit of sharpening to improve the quality of the edge on the blade
I have about 15 high quality planes and bought it more my 5 year old
Adjusting the depth of cut on the blade can be somewhat frustrating but its the same with the stanley

Just get it out of the package disassemble clean off the shipping grease assemble and setup and start making wood shavings
