Pros
Nice and smooth under the shaver and moisturizes at the same time. I like the nostalgia of the hot lather, straight razor shaves.
Been using this for several years now, it's amazing. Still love the product. Nice easy shave.
Small bottle takes a bulky can out of the bag. Smells great and lasts a long time. Leaves no greasy feel. Notbulky at all.
Cons
Shave secret jams the razor blades and leaves a film in the sink. You have to keep face moistened in order for it to work. Shampoo conditioner works better.
The company is trying to establish itself by giving you a full rebate on the price of the product. The new semi-clear stuff (for sale here) is just the worst.
The smell is very strong and off putting. Oily and smelly.
