Was a bit apprehensive about trying these. Soaked as per instructions. They say to use the stone evenly, well, that's easier said than done.

Sharpened 2 pairs of scissors - like new again. Completely rejuvenated my plane and chisels. The cleaver is sharper than ever, although my nakiri seems more blunt.
Very pleased with the whetstone. The silicone gripper supplied is a nice touch. The 400 side is for the bluntest edges and really only used to bring a knife back from the dead.
Cons
If you are serious about sharpening your knifes avoid these stones. The stones are uneven and not flush. The stone is not a splash and go so i presumed it would be absorbing like a sponge.

The stone itself is great quality and comes packaged in a tight little box which is very unassuming placed away in the kitchen drawer

If youre doing the same as me i would say that something coarser would have been faster than the 400
I will likely invest in the next grit levels up and get another bearmoo stone to improve the blade even further

I bought this product with a specific knife in mind the one i use most in the kitchen and which at the time had lost its out of the box sharpness

I had always liked the idea of being able to sharpen my own knives and grew up using purpose built kitchen utensils which just never seemed to sharpen the blade that much

I figured invest in a stone and learn a new skill and youll get way longer out of your knives plus be able to buy much better quality knives and know they will be looked after to make them worth the extra money
