I own a gopro 3+ silver. When I do full HD or time lapse videos my batteries go fast. On a stock battery at full HD, I get about 2 hours worth before it dies. These batteries from Shark are actually rated just below the stock battery at 1050 mAh. And that may not sound like a plus but it’s cheaper than stock yet you get almost the same amount of power.So getting down to tech specs I compared 3 gopro battery types.... Stock Gopro, Smatree, and Shark. The Gopro stock is rated at 1180mAh, Smatree is rated at 1290mAH and the Shark is rated at 1050mAH. All 3 are Li-ion batteries at 3.7V. The Smatree brand outlasted the Gopro stock and the Shark. But it also costed more as well without that much more minutes to add in the long run.To me, the Shark brand is just as good than the stock GoPro and After market Smatree brands are. What I really like about the Shark is the charging cradle it comes with is tiny. Now I know some may say, its not a big deal, but the fact that it's tiny for when on the go is crucial. When I go hiking and camping, I need to maximize my space and this smaller charge does the job. And this small charging cradle does charge each battery independently . I has two separate indicator lights that are red when charging and green when charged. And here is the best part of that charger, it can use either micro or mini USB connections. How awesome is that?What you get is 2 battery packs, 1 charging cradle, and 1 micro usb charging cable.I did receive this item at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
