I usually leave them outside in the sun while i dry my clothes on the line as the directions say to recharge them in sunlight

Reviews say 2 for regular load and 4 for large loads so thats what ive been doing

If it’s sitting in a damp load overnight the balls stink and you have to put them outside for a day to refresh them

I have well water so maybe that factors into it but i was having to wash the heavily soiled clothes almost 3 times to get the smell out
