Shara and the haunted village is a short story and i would hate to spoil it for anyone interested in reading it but i will say this at the heart of the story is a woman who found a mysterious village when she was a young girl it is this lost village that holds a magical relic and shara is hired to find the village in order to retrieve the magical item

What they find is a surprise and i found it a welcome addition to the story as it was not what i was expecting

While i havent read getzins prince of bryanae yet i am told that shara and the haunted village takes place in the same world

There is some language user beware and at one point it took me out of the story but at other points felt right for the character
