Pros
They work great. Very durable. After 30+ years the only company that can build a rod to compete against the most popular rod in history is shakespeare. I have the 7 ft rod and it is great for cat fishing, trolling, and throwing heavy baits.

We use circle hooks and dont take a rod out of the holder until the fish is hooked up and many times weve had two or more eyes under the water before we could get it out of the holder

The only thing is that this is a onepiece pole so youd have to make sure it will fit in your vehicle before you purchase it

I chose berkely trilene 10 lb test and it cast mepps 2 spinners very well
