The leaves can be pulled apart or pushed together depending on what youre doing with them but they will always go back to the starting shape if released

Its not silent but its more quiet than most that ive had even on the highest setting its nothing that can be heard through a closed door at least not that ive been told but it wouldnt be something that would go unnoticed if someone were in the same room
