    My phone is a moto g that is 3 inches wide in an otterbox case and it fits securely although at 58 inch thick the case makes it too thick to fit exactly into the grips the grips are meant to hold something about 0

    If you are a complete selfie stick newbie like i was then the way this works is by bluetooth so your phone needs to have that function

    Once you sync the two devices this was easy to do according to my husband who initially tested the selfie stick then you can just press the button to take a photo
