I replaced some screw-hooks holding up a porch swing with these hangers, because the screw-hooks were old, rusty and screeched every time you swung. What a difference! These are silent! One thing I changed though was the lag bolts that came with the set. There's not enough thread depth on them! I have a log house and the wood is fairly soft. The lag bolts that came with the package have very shallow threads, so I bought some good lag bolts (same size) with much deeper thread. That worked great and I thought these hangers were so good, I ordered two more... for air chairs!  Read Less
