It is the second thing i look at in detail when examining a timepiece with day and date second only to whether the second hand registers exactly to the index marks around the dial

I cant take it when the second hand indicates somewhere in between the index marks as it ticks around the dial

Seiko uses hardlex proprietary mineral crystals on this series of watch and it is very resistant to impacts though supposedly not as scratch resistant as sapphire

At any rate the crystal on this watch so far does not show any sign of scratches

I like the weight of this watch it is solid feeling without being too heavy and the links in the bracelet are of unusual construction

Instead of the normal link and pin for each segment there are actually 5 pieces to each link making adjusting the bracelet to fit your wrist a little more complicated

For that matter lots of people dont adjust their own bandsbracelets so this might not affect you at all
