Pros
Comes with two angled mounting plates and two u channels. Instructions in how to mount 3 different ways. Original outdoor mirror had aluminum frame and the back side was aluminum as well.
Mounted on a metal stake at end of driveway to see approaching cars, bicycles, pedestrians. Montana's semi-arid mountains and valleys are subject to temps from well-below zero to the three-digit range. Needed for backing out of the driveway.
Cons
This mirror has a cardboard back even though it is advertised as an outdoor mirror. This mirror is not for outdoor use as advertised.
This winter the mirror had sagging across the middle of the viewing area. Most of the construction looks ok, but there's a piece of trim that holds the edging on or covers the seam.

I live on a hill after a curve and its tricky to get out of the driveway with cars coming fast down the hill and cars coming up past the blind curve
