However the seachem dark is a great substrate and i am highly satisfied with the product

As you can see the substrate works just fine and your fish will be fine

And because i keep seeing people complain about cloudy waterno the product isnt bad youre just not doing it right

I do not know if this is flourites fault or amazons shipping

Dust is generated from all the handling during shipping so if you dont want to wait a week while the water is clouded red or brown

I used a mesh strainer with mine first to remove the very small particles

The substrate is moist and you can see residue on the inside of the bag

Then i left it overnight to allow remaining dust the chance to cement to larger pieces in the bag
