I would not recommend the anchors as they are quite large and have thread on the outside of them which compromised their security during installation

For example the threads made the pilot hole larger and when i tried attaching the shelf to the wall it just fell out

I would not recommend placing it directly behind a chair or sofa without ample room because it does protrude almost a foot off the wall
