Pros

The safety module is priceless. The peace of mine for my niece is priceless!

The sawstop company blew me away. Everything was machined to perfection. The second downfall is for those with limited space it is a good sized saw.

All nuts & bolts are individually packaged and color-coded to match. The instructions are the clearest i have yet to see in a owners manual. The assembly is simple and straight forward with excellent packaging and step by step instructions.

The sear's craftsman saw seems like a kids toy now when i use it. Sawstop puts in a lot of time and effort to make this one of the best saws out there. Went from a beginners portable saw to this. Best saw ever per my husband.

Using this saw is an absolute pleasure. A minor anomaly, but easily dealt with. All of the tools work togethers very well in a compact space. The saw works beautifully.

Cons

Saw is great, but was delivered damaged. The front edge is flat. This is unacceptable. I have to adjust this screw all the way in one direction to use the blade that shipped with the saw. All of this is especially disappointing.

This saw has safety features that make up the price gap difference to others

Precision alone over the light portables is worth the extra weight and cost

The only way to get quality at a decent price was to make them myself and to make them i needed a table saw

It was a close call that still cost me some stitches and trip to the emergency room
