Along with the mixer as a whole

The saramonic was an easy solution to convert line input to mic input

The only other alternative seemed to be a more expensive saramonic or building my own with resistors and splicing wires
Its super sturdy with a hotshoe mount so rest assured nothing will come tumbling off of it
It will also work with your iphone if you buy a trs to trrs cable ie 2 bands to 3 bands like this one ulanzi 3

This is an excellent adapter really i did not advice that add noise to the signal in mi camcorder and dslr cameras

Con if you have a sony microphone that requires power when plugged in directly into a camcorder this adapter will not work for you because the power does not pass through to the camcorder

When switched to mono your hear both the left and right channel inputs on the output of the audio adapter with no separation but you can still change the individual volumes of the sources plugged in

If yours has a microphone input it will work but keep in mind it is passive for microphones only and will not allow power to pass so for example if you have a sony camcorder and requires power for the sony external microphone you cannot use this audio adapter

So useful and it feels solid like if someone was attacking me and i threw it at their face it would do some serious damage to them but it would still work fine afterward

This allows me to adjust the levels for each mic separately which is really usefull if the interviewer speaks louder than the interviewee
